Raising a Rottweiler with Confidence, Love, and Structure

At Lonepeak Rottweilers, we know that raising a well-mannered Rottweiler starts with intention,
consistency, and a whole lot of love.
1. Start Training Early: Begin obedience training the day your puppy comes home. Use simple
commands like "sit" and "come," and reinforce success with praise and treats. Puppies are like
sponges-take advantage of this window!
2. Socialization is Key: Expose your puppy to different people, sights, and sounds. Let them ride in
the car, hear vacuum cleaners, and meet children, cats, and calm adult dogs. The more positive
exposure they get, the better.
3. Leadership & Boundaries: Rottweilers thrive with calm, confident leadership. Set boundaries and
follow through. If they aren't allowed on the couch, they aren't allowed today, tomorrow, or next
week. Consistency builds trust.
4. Positive Reinforcement: Reward-based training beats punishment every time. Praise your puppy
when they get it right. If they mess up, redirect them with patience.
5. Daily Mental & Physical Exercise: These dogs are brilliant and powerful. A walk alone isn't
enough-play fetch, teach new tricks, or give them a puzzle toy to burn off that energy and keep their
minds sharp.
6. Gentle Mouth Training: Use redirection for biting and teach bite inhibition through play. Yelping
like a littermate or offering a toy when nipping starts works wonders.
7. Handling & Grooming: Regularly touch their paws, ears, tail, and mouth so they're comfortable
with vet visits and grooming. Make it a bonding moment!
8. Crate Training: Create a cozy, positive association with the crate. It's not punishment-it's their
personal safe space and a powerful house-training tool.
9. Exposure to Children & Pets: Never leave a puppy unsupervised with young children. Teach both
how to interact respectfully. Use gates, leashes, and supervision early on.
10. Lifelong Commitment: Owning a Rottweiler is a 10-12 year journey. Keep up the training,
support their health, and know you've got backup-we're here for life!

About Lonepeak Rottweilers
Meet the Jambors!
We are a family of 5 who live in Highland, Utah. Our names are Jared and Tiffany. With 3 beautiful
daughters, our home is never boring. We love traveling, hiking, cycling, reading, watching our kids
play sports, skiing/snowboarding, and just about any outdoor adventure you can imagine!
Our kids have never known a house without dogs and we all share a passion for them. We've had
rottweilers for the past 15+ years, and started our journey into breeding back in 2020. Despite the
Rottweiler's misunderstood reputation, we have had a house full of kids and other animals and the
best experiences with these loyal dogs.
Although we've loved all our dogs, we never found a breeder that offered the experience we were
looking for and knew we could do it the way we felt was right. With a passion for finding the right
bloodlines, features, and personalities-and raising the puppies in a home full of helping hands,
unlimited kisses, socializing, and a healthy diet-we do just that.
We are so proud of every puppy we've produced and love following their progress with their
amazing new families. We LOVE what we do and truly find so much joy and love in every step of the
process and in every litter.
When you commit to a Lonepeak Rottweiler, you become part of our family for LIFE!
We're With You for Life.
Whether you're navigating puppy teething, leash training, or just need a refresher on boundaries,
we're here every step of the way.
At Lonepeak Rottweilers, we proudly offer LIFETIME support to every one of our puppy
families-because once you're part of the Lonepeak family, you're never alone.
